Heart wrenching to see PM package employees on strike: Sanjay Saraf

Srinagar, May 27 (KNS): National Spokesperson and national general secretary Rashtriya Lok Janshakti party leader, Sanjay Saraf on Friday said that it was heart wrenching to see PM package employees on strike and stated that if their concerns would have been addressed on time the situation would have been better.

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), he said that they are the bearers of brotherhood and represent the peace step taken from govt towards the resettlement of K.Ps.

He said that Rahul Bhat’s killing has lead these employees in search of many answers from govt as well as from the administration.

“The most worrisome issue is their security in the valley. They were promised accommodation in the valley which has been a false promise and all the employees have been living in rentals. None of the employees have received any promotion, postings were promised at district level because of security reasons whilst the postings have been sent to far flung areas,” he added.

He said that salaries of the employees is 13000 because of SRO 194 and for many is pending because of local stub brained administration.

He added that their concerns should be addressed and stated that he stands with these employees.

“I am also thankful to UT Govt for allowing me to visit Budgam, Vesu, Baramulla and Mattan camps and I would like to all thank to LG Sinha for visiting the PM package employees,” he said. (KNS)
