Jammu, Jan 20 (KNS): Taking the issue of poor health structure of hilly and mountain locked constituency of Banihal in legislative assembly session here today chief whip of Congress legislative party and member legislative assembly MLA Banihal Vikar Rasool Wani said that government should take development of health infrastructure of hilly areas of state in general and Banihal in particular in its priority.
Vikar Rasool Wani speaking on grants of health and medical education today.He said that there huge shortage of doctors and para medical staff in Banihal constituency and has to cover long distance for health care in rural areas like Neel, Mohu Mangith, Pogal Paristan and Sumber areas of his assembly segment.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Congress legislator from Banihal said there is great need of regularization of NHM employees, drivers working under HDF and Asha workers working in the department on meager salaries as these employees are the important pillars of the system.
He further demanded the sanction of staff for PHC's and dispensaries of his assembly segment.
Vikar further said that Banihal emergency hospital has highest OPD and accidental patient ratio in the state and need of the time is to provide all required facilities to this prestigious health institute
He demand immediate sanction of accidental hospital at Ramsu and sanctioned critical care ambulance at Banihal. (KNS)
