Health employees in Hajin block without equipment to deal with COVID-19


Srinagar, Mar 24 (KNS): At the time when authorities are stressing people to avoid the gatherings and took preventive measures amid Coronavirus scare, employees of Health Department are complaining lack of equipments like, gloves and masks in Hajin area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

According to reports reached to Kashmir News Service (KNS), health centres including Markundal, sub-centre Chewa, UD Shaadipora, sub-centre Shilwat, sub-centre Dangerpora, NTPHC S K Bala, sub-centre SK Payeen, sub-centre Nesbal, UD Ganastan, sub-centre Gaadkhud, sub-centre Panzinara, sub-centre Zalpora, NTPHC Madwan, sub-centre Prang, NTPHC mugdamyari, sub-centre Kathpora, NTPHC Amchikundal, NTPHC Nowgam and UD Goshbugh, employees complained that they have not received the masks and other things yet.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

A group of health employees told KNS over phone that their lives are at higher risk as they have not received the mask and other necessary equipments which are indispensable for protection from virus.

However despite repeated calls from KNS, BMO Hajin didn't bother to receive the call. (KNS)
