Bandipora April 2 (KNS):  District Administration Bandipora today airlifted an employee of Health department in chopper  who suffered heart attack in Gurez Hospital for advanced treatment. 

 The district administration bandipora  received an SOS from the SDM Gurez for evacuation of one employee who suffered Heart attack at CHC Gurez  who was in immediate need of medical help.

The Deputy Commissioner immediately directed the concerned to arrange a special chopper to airlift the patients .

SDM Gurez Dr.Mudasir Ahmad was personally monitored rescue operation of the patient to District Hospital Bandipora for treatment.

Meanwhile BMO Dr.Tahira also confirmed to KNS  that Mashooq Hussain working in CHC Gurez felt unconscious and suffered  minor heart attack and was immediately referred to SDH bandipora for advance treatment .

Meanwhile district Administration yesterday also airlifted critically ill two patients among  60 passangers from snow bound Gurez to Bandipora .
The snow-clad Gurez valley remains cut off from the rest of the world during winters owing to heavy snowfall in the valley. (KNS)
