Srinagar, Jan 23 (KNS): Hurriyat Conference Jammu Kashmir leaders Shabir Ahmed Dar Mohammad Iqbal Mir, Mohammad Ahsan Untoo and Imtiyaz Reshi has appealed for complete shutdown on 26 January to show its disapproval of republic day celebrations of India as everyone knows that the Indian so called democracy stands tall on the dead bodies of people of Jammu Kashmir, their political will has been suppressed and robbed by Indian might.
In a joint statement to KNS, they said that this day reminds us about the heinous abuses of democrats rights of Kashmiris.
India is not involved only in the mass murders of Kashmiris people but it has also criminally approached upon the honor of our women and has used rape as weapon of war for forcing Kashmiris to submission, humanity and human values were the first casualties of Indian repression and the most unfortunate part is that the Kashmiri lush green environs have been turned red by the blood of its own sons of soil as the trigger happy forces of India has killed more than six hundred thousand Kashmiris since 1947.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
India does not qualify to be a true democratic republic as it hides its excesses its forces are doing with Kashmiris, now this cover remains no longer there, so the duty of international community is to come forward and ensure that the right of self determination of Kashmiris is honored and respected.
Meanwhile Hurriyat conference JK has welcomed the re election of Mohammad Iqbal Mir as the president of Mahaz I Azadi with a hope that he will continue to work for resistance movement and to further its cause with his sincerity and dedication, and will also contribute with his leadership skills in strengthening the freedom movement.
