Srinagar, Sept 26 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir High Court has sought a reply from J&K authorities on the issue of house arrest of Aga Syed Hassan Al-Mosvi, President of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, whether the religious cleric is detained or free?
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), while hearing the case Justice Tashi Rabistan sought details from the authorities on the issue of Aga Hassan’s detention. “I received a notice of High Court seeking details about the detention of Aga Hassan. I have been asked if the religious cleric is under detention when where is the detention order served by the concerned authorities”, Advocate Manzoor said.
It is worth to mention Aga Hassan continues to remain under house arrest since August 3, 2019 days before New Delhi abolished special status of Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 and 35(A). (KNS)
