Srinagar, Mar 19 (KNS): Chairman of Democratic Liberation Party (DLP), Hashim Qureshi Saturday condemned the police action on peaceful protesters of Saida Pora who were protesting against the Garbage dumping site ‘Achan’.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hashim termed Jammu and Kashmir as ‘unlucky’ state and said that the government has miserably failed to use scientific methods to finish the garbage piled at Achan.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“The authorities are polluting the water as well the atmosphere by throwing garbage in lakes, roads and other public places,” he said.
Hashim said that such kind of happenings has changed the weather condition in the state. “Unfortunately, NC leaders who failed to redress the problems of Saidapora residents were part of the protest. Thus, exposed their double standard,” he said. (KNS)
