Strongly condemning the police action on agitating Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers yesterday, Chairman Democratic Liberation Party Hashim Qureshi has said that nothing can be more misfortune for a nation than to subjected its teachers (who are the actual nation builders) to mindless violence and humiliated them doubting their capabilities, as is the motive behind putting the teachers to a test.
In a statement issued here today, Qureshi said the state of Jammu and Kashmir is already on the verge of economic bankruptcy and “is hell bent in creating problems for the builders of nation.”
He questioned the motive of the present and previous governments for implementing the Rehbar-e-Taleem, Rehbar-e-Ziraat and other recruitment policies, “which has done a grave injustice with the educated and qualified youth of the state.”
“If state was facing economic problems.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelWho forced the government to formulate and implement the recruitment policies?” he said.
The Democratic Liberation Party Chairman suggested government to make accountable a hallmark in government schools so that 100 percent result is ensured.
“If education minister really wants to improve the standard of government schools, the first thing he should do is frame a law or a rule that makes mandatory for every elected representative and public figures (minister, MLAs, MLCs, bureaucrats and other government officials) to admit their wards in government schools. This will result in ensuring not only accountability in government schools but 100 percent result too,” he said.
Qureshi appealed the agitating Rehbar-e-Taleem teachers to resume their teaching work and solve their issue with government amicably.
