Says unity among separatist camp need of the hour

Paying tribute to the martyrs of July 13, 1931, chairman Democratic Liberation Party (DLP) Hashim Qurashi Thursday said the sacrifices of these martyrs not only laid the foundation of resistance movement against slavery in Kashmir, but the sacrifices are also a glowing chapter of Kashmir’s history.
In a statement issued here, Qurashi wile appreciating the important development of separatists holding a united rally on July 13, termed the move as “very influential and highly courageous”. “The move will not only pave way for the unity among pro-freedom camp but will also defeat the nefarious designs of the enemies of Kashmir’s freedom movement,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Qurashi said the rank and file of DLP will participate in July 13 processions to be led by Hurriyat (G) chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and JKLF chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik.
He said the united Hurriyat Conference was not only the need of hour to carry forward freedom movement to its logical conclusion, but will also be a tribute to the sacrifices of martyrs.
“Only unity can ensure right to self determination to Kashmiris and will end the era of slavery,” he said, adding the separatists should not pay heed to the slanderous and vilification campaign by some people against them.
