Srinagar, Dec 01 (KNS): Expressing shock over opening of case after eight years, Chairman of Democratic Liberation Front (DLF), Hashim Qureshi Tuesday asked the state government to come clear why they are harassing him by one way or other.
In a statement issued to KNS, Qureshi said that he was shocked when some police officials from Nishat police station came to their home and asked about the case filed in 2008 under sections 148, 337, 347, 427, 341, 323, RPC against him and other five persons.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that the case was filed during the agitation in 2008. Condemning the police action, Hashim said that why the case was not opened from that period of time. “It seems that police officials were in deep slumber or the officials are playing such kind of tactics on the directions of state government,” he said.
