Says move is ‘stabbing’ Kashmiris

Srinagar, Feb 01 (KNS): Harkat ul Mujahideen on Wednesday expressed sorrow over the house detention of Jamaat-ud-Daawa Chief, Hafiz Muhammad Sayeed.
In a tele-statement to KNS, Harkat ul Mujahideen said, “Kashmiris are saddened with this move and condemned such moves aimed to please USA and India.”
The outfit spokesman Hassan Askari while quoting the outfit chief, Maulana Sajad Shahid as saying, “The move of detention of Hafiz Saeed is to please the Trump and Modi, and it is stabbing the kashmir movement,
He said, “Hafiz Sayeed remained always in the forefront over the Kashmir issue and exposed Indian brutality in Kashmir.”
Askari said, “Detaining Hafiz Sayeed will prove fatal blow to the ongoing freedom movement of Kashmir. India always wanted to suppress this voice and others who exposed their real face.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
The outfit chief appealed Pakistan government to revisit the decision of detaining Hafiz Sayeed.
“The people of Kashmir are demanding freedom, which was also promised by the Indian leaders but failed to fulfill that. Indian forces are committing atrocities on the people of Kashmir who are taking to streets to demand their rights,” he said.
He said, “India has used pellets against the kids to blind them while many were arrested tortured, Such kinds of atrocities are not being carried in Kashmir only but India is suppressing its minorities in Indian states as well.”
The spokesman said that their armed struggle will remain continue until India did not vacate its occupation on Kashmir. (KNS)
