Srinagar December 6 (KNS): Prominent Social and political activist, Basit Zaragr Hayat on Tuesday said that harassment of girl students across educational institutions in Jammu Kashmir is Alarming.
In a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Basit Zaragr said that the Harassment to girl students in educational institutions is alarming and parents are disturbed feeling unsafe of their wards in educational institutions.
The menace needs to be curbed and stern actions required to ensure the safety of girl students.
He urged the LG administration to ensure safety of girl students by launching special cells across educational institutions to monitor the harassment and other abuse.
Zargar also appropriated the prompt action of police and Baramulla administration in recent alleged harassment by a girl student in SKUAST camps wadder Sopore.(KNS)
