Handwara, Oct 24 (KNS): Handwara Traders Federation Tuesday held elections for electing its new executive body.
Aijaz Sofi was elected as President of the Federation. He won the elections by 444 votes while Ghulam Rasool Wani was elected as General Secretary, who defeated his rival by 199 votes.

Mushtaq Bakhshi was the election board chairman while Javid Zargar was the election observer.
Prior to the elections, they had appealed to the participants that carrying membership receipt is mandatory for participating in the elections. (KNS)
