Srinagar, Jan 02 (KNS): In its continuous efforts to curb the menace of drugs, Handwara Police today during routine patrolling at bye-pass crossing near new bus stand Handwara, saw two persons in a suspicious condition who tried to escape while seeing patrolling party.
Patrolling party skillfully apprehended one person who on preliminary questioning disclosed his identity as Firdous Ahmad Bhat son of Abdul Salam Bhat resident of Hangah and another one who escaped from the spot, identified by the apprehended person as Hilal Ahmad Dar son of Ab Rehman resident of Takibal Chogal.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
On personal search of apprehended person, one polythene bag inwhich charas like substance weighing about 700 grams, were recovered.
