Handwara, Oct 21 (KNS): Handwara police on Wednesday organizes police memorial sports festival here at District Police Lines (DPL) Handwara under the banner of Police Flag day 2020 in which Cricket, Volleyball Carom-board and other games will be played at District Police Lines ground Handwara and will continue till 30th October.
According to Police statement issued to KNS reads, the event was inaugurated by ASP Handwara Mashkoor Ahmad, besides DySP DAR Handwara Ab Raqeeb Malik and other police officers and officials were also present on the event.
ASP on the event said that the tournament has been organized by Handwara Police in the memory of Jawans and officers of the force, who laid down their lives for the security, sovereignty and integrity of the Nation (KNS)
