Handwara November 28 (KNS) : The police on Monday held a lady drug peddler along with narcotics in North Kashmir's Handwara.
Continuing its efforts against drug peddling, Handwara Police on Monday arrested lady drug peddler and recovered narcotics from her possession.
A police spokesperson told KNS that on Nov 27, 2022, a police party of Police Station Handwara apprehended one lady near ITI Gonipora, who had attempted to avoid the police party in a suspicious manner.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
On searching, around 06 gm of Brown Sugar like substance was recovered from her possession. The lady has been identified as Haseena Begum W/o Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, R/o Gonipora Handwara.
In relation to this, FIR No. 300/2022 U/s 8/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Handwara and investigation has been initiated.(KNS)
