Handwara, March 26:(KNS) Continuing war of Handwara Police against menace of drugs a police party of Police Station Vilgam after friday prayers established naka/ patrolling within the area. During checking the police party  intercepted  two persons namely Tariq Ahmad War @tiger mama S/o Mohd Akbar War R/o Hardona , and  Gh Nabi Dar S/o Mohd Munawar Dar R/o pazipora who  were on the scooty bearing Reg. number HR 05BA/3742.

During search of the duo 50 grams* of charas like substance and Rs.1900 cash has been recovered which they were transporting for the purpose of sale .As per the sources both  are chronic drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of Ramhal vilgam. 

Accordingly legal action has been taken and case FIR no. 21/21 u/s 8/20 ,29 NDPS act has been registered against the accused persons and investigation taken up.
 
 This act is hugely hailed by general public of the area. Handwara police again appeals the people of Handwara District to come forward with the information regarding drug peddlers so that curative steps can be taken against them.(KNS)
