Bandipora , 21 April (KNS) :In a tragic incident, at least half dozen people including elders injured in dog bite in malangam village of North Kashmir's Bandipora district on Wednesday .

Sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that many people were injured in dog bite, however they were rescued and were taken to nearby hospital for advanced treatment.

The injured were treated and anti-rabbies vaccines were given to them at the hospital. 

Locals told kashmir news Service (KNS) that the number of stray dogs has been increasing in the area and the children and elderly are often scared to go out alone on roads (KNS) .
