Srinagar, Jan 6 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) president and MLA Khansahib Hakim Mohammad Yasin while condoling the death of Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed today termed the deceased as a visionary leader.
In a condolence statement to press he said, ”In Mufti sahib’s demise the state has lost a mature leader, who had done a lot for the state in his long political career.”
“I worked with Mufti sahib in 1984 and 2002 and there was visible change on ground during that period. However, in 2014 elections unfortunately, there was a fractured mandate, but still Mufti sahib accepted the challenge though we opposed his decision,” Hakim Yasin said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While stating that the state was passing through a critical juncture, he said, “It is now the responsibility of the PDP leadership to take aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir into consideration and not push the state further into quagmire.”
The MLA Khansahib expressed his condolences with the Mufti family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul. (KNS)
