Srinagar, Apr 04 (KNS): Chairman PDF and MLA Khansahib Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has welcomed the Supreme Court observation that "Article 370 of the Constitution, which gives special position to the Jammu and Kashmir state, is not temporary and its abrogation was impossible."
In a statement issued to KNS, Hakeem Yaseen while hailing the Supreme Court observation that Article 370 is not temporary and it cannot be abrogated, has said the observation has cleared all the dust now adding that anti Kashmiri elements should now desist from talking against authenticity of this Article. He said tinkering with Art.370 was constitutionally impossible which has been now vindicated and authenticated by not less than the Supreme Court itself.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe said Supreme Court has also made it clear that the Art.370 has acquired a permanent status.
Hakeem Yaseen has hoped that the fringe elements in the country would now understand sensitivity of the issue and not dare to talk against this Article, which guarantees special status to the state. He said people of the state have had a sigh of relief out of the observation of the highest court of the country with regard to the undisputed characteristic of the Article 370. (KNS)
