Srinagar, July 15 :(KNS) Chairman Peoples Democratic Front (PDF) Hakeem Yaseen has urged the government especially district administration Budgam to intensify market checking on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha to contain skyrocketing prices of essential commodities and sacrificial animals.
In a statement issued on Thursday Hakeem Yaseen has urged the government to launch a vigorous market checking drive in nook and corner of Jammu and Kashmir including various areas of Central kashmir Budgam to contain skyrocketing prices of essential commodities and sacrificial animals on the eve of upcoming Bakra Eid. He has also urged the government to ensure massive cleanliness and sanitization under the jurisdiction of various municipal councils municipal committees , gram panchayats especially during first three days of Eid-ul- Azha . He said government should enforce strict compliance to the rate list of the Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs department to prevent public from fleecing on the hands of profiteers and unscrupulous traders . PDF Chairman has made a fervent appeal to also asked made a fervent appeal to Muslim Ummah to celebrate this Bakra Eid with utmost simplicity and precautions in accordance to the covid appropriate behaviour (CAB) .
"While celebrating this Bakra Eid, we shall have to follow all the health advisories and SOPs prescribed by the WHO and the Department of Health and Medical Education to save ourselves as well as our loved ones and fellow beings from the covid19 pandemic." "Hakeem Yaseen stressed while cautioning that the sword of Covid - 19 pandemic was still hangs over the heads. " We should not lower the gaurd to ensure blockade of possible third wave of pandemic.
Hakeem Yaseen has appealed to the people especially muslim ummah to provide every possible help and relief to destitute and needy families in respective neighborhoods while celebrating the sacred religious festival of Eid-ul-Azha .
