December 25, 2020 (KNS): A delegation lead by Senior Leaders of Hakeem Yaseen's People's Democratc Front (PDF), including Javed Beigh from Beerwah, Budgam and Mushtaq Shameem today visited Sukhnag and Rathsun blocks of Budgam DDC constituency on the directions of the party president Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen to congratulate and falicitate newly elected DDC members, Ms. Rozia Manzoor and Khurshid Ahmad sheikh, who have emerged victorious from Sukhnag and Rathsun, respectively.

In a statement issued to KNS, Senior party leader PDF and incharge Beerwah Constituency Javed Beigh was accompanied by dozens of party functionaries and hundreds of party workers. While speaking on the occasion, Javed Beigh congratulated Ms. Rozia Manzoor and Mr. Khurshid Ahmad Sheikh on their respective victories and reiterated the PDF party's stand on Article 370 and 35A to restore the statehood of J&K. He also stressed upon the role of DDC members in development and good governance of their respective blocks. He explained the role and responsibilities of DDC members to the gathered crowd.

Javed Beigh also stressed upon the need for the immediate and timely redressal of problems faced by the people of Budgam district on daily basis and urged the local administration to be proactive during the harsh winter of Chilla-i-Kalan period and provide basic necessities to people on priority basis.

While delivering a highly emotional speech at Chewdara and Sonapah, Javed Beigh took a jibe at Ex MLA Beerwah and former CM of the erstwhile state of J&K, Omar Abdullah for taking the support of the people of Beerwah for granted and later betraying them. Javed Beigh, while calling the previous win of Omar Abdullah from Beerwah, a"historic blunder", "betrayal of emotions"and "wastage of resources", urged Omar Abdullah to instrospact and accept the verdict of the people of Beerwah against the National Conference. Mr Javed Beigh said that NC lost the entire Beerwah and in its place saw the emergence of PDF as a major political force in entire Central Kashmir. He reiterated that PDF not only won Rathsun but also managed to garner a lion's share of votes from the Beerwah block and NC's loss was entirely due to the worthy performance of PDF.

Also, speaking on the occasion, senior leader PDF, Mushtaq Shameem congratulated the victorious PDF candidates and thanked the people for their support and assured them of all possible help in resolution of their problems. Prominent among senior functionaries present were Bashir Ahmad Chewdari, Nissar Hussain Sonpahi, Fayaz Ahmad Wahabpori, Fayaz Ahmad Dar Sonapahi, Bashir Ahmad Gampori, Ghulam Mohamad shah, Abdul Rashid Kralnew. Lastly, Javed Beigh thanked the entire people of Beerwah and Khansahib for their support to PDF and assured them of party's help and assistance in solving their problems (KNS).
