Urges govt: to provide ex- gratia relief to surviving affected families

Srinagar July 28:(KNS)  Chairman People's Democratic Front ( PDF) Hakeem Yaseen has expressed shock and grief over the loss of precious human lives and property in the disastrous cloud burst incident in  

Hanzor area of Dachhan in Kishtwar. As per reports, bodies of five persons have been recovered while 12 persons have been rescued in injured condition so far in flash floods triggered by cloud burst in district.Around 25 to 26 persons are still missing. 

      In a statement issued on Wednesday, Hakeem Yaseen said that " I was shocked and distressed to hear about the loss of precious human lives in cloudburst in Kishtwar ". He has expressed his heartfelt sympathies with those who have lost their loved ones. He has also prayed for safety of those who are still missing and early recovery of those who have got severely injured in the incident. 

      Hakeem Yaseen has urged the state administration to intensify rescue and relief operations and press in helicopter service to save precious lives.

        PDF Chairman has urged the government to alert it's disaster management agencies especially State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) teams in nook and corner of jammu and kashmir to meet any exigencies in view of inclement weather warning issued by the Metrology department ( MET) for next few days.(KNS)
