The Committee on Government Assurances of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Wednesday directed the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department to fulfill all pending Government Assurances pertaining to them in a time bound manner.
The direction came during a meeting of the committee held under the chairmanship of MLA, Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen to discuss and examine the Action Taken Reports (ATRs) on 19th report of the Committee of Assurances besides over all functioning of the R&B Department.
Legislators, Dr. Gagan Bhagat, Kuldeep Raj and Noor Mohammad Sheikh attended the meeting and stressed upon the officers of R&B Department to gear up their field functionaries and achieve the targets in full.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The panel was apprised by the R&B authorities about the measures taken by the Department for raising the road infrastructure in the state under the PMGSY and other agencies besides physical and financial achievements registered by the Department.
Pr. Secretary, Forests, Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Secretary, (Tech) R&B, Chief Conservator Forest, A K Singh, Chief Engineer, R&B Jammu, MD JKPCC, Director, Project BEACON, Chief Engineer, PMGSY Kashmir, XENs, SEs, and other senior officers of R&B department besides officers and officials of Assembly Secretariat were present on the occasion.
