Srinagar, Oct 15 (KNS): Expressing serious concern over the wide spread incidents of mysterious braid chopping in various areas of the Kashmir valley, the Chairman, PDF and MLA, Khansahib , Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has asked the Government to come clean on the issue as it has caused tremendous fear and insecurity among the people.
In a statement issued to KNS, Hakeem Yaseen while castigating the PDP led coalition Government for maintaining criminal silence over the mystery of braid chopping incidents in various areas of the valley has alleged that given the ambiguous response of the Government, the finger of suspicion points towards involvement of Government agencies to create fear psychosis among the already strife torn people of the valley.
He has ridiculed the Government for its utter failure to check the menace of braid chopping adding that braid chopping was an assault on the chastity and respect of the womanhood. He said Government has lost the right to be in place as it has totally failed to save life and property of the common masses from the machinations of the anti people elements.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said that the braid chopping incidents have put dignity of the sacred womanhood at stake which is unacceptable at all costs. He said it was most unfortunate and shameful that our sisters and daughters are scared to move out of their homes for routine work. “The onus lies on the Government itself to clear the dust on the mystery that shrouds prevailing braid chopping menace in the valley to regain confidence of the people on the rule of law.
Hakeem Yaseen said that the increasing incidents of braid chopping in the valley have put a question mark on the credibility of the present Government adding that the prevailing situation has upset the peace of mind of the people of Kashmir valley especially among woman folk.
Hakeem Yaseen has demanded effective measures on war footing basis to un earth mystery behind the increasing incidents of braid chopping so that the culprits are punish severely. (KNS)
