Srinagar, Jun 27 (KNS): Chairman PDF Hakeem Yaseen has expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the tragic road accident in Peer Ki Gali, on Mughal road in which eleven students, nine of them girls, were killed and seven others were injured after an excursion (vehicle) Tempo Traveller they were on board skidded off the road on Thursday
In a statement, Hakeem Yaseen has conveyed his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families.

He said hardly any day passes when there is no report of a traffic accident on National Highways of Jammu, Chenab valley and Peer Panchal.
He said dilapidated condition of roads was another cause of day to day road accidents. He has ridiculed the administration for its failure to macadamize roads in various areas of the state after the recent winter. He said commuters as well as vehicle drivers are facing tremendous hardships due to bad condition of roads. (KNS)
