Srinagar, May 7 (KNS): The Haj Committee of India (HCoI) has announced the cancellation of all Haj flights scheduled from the Srinagar Embarkation Point until May 9, 2025, owing to the temporary closure of Srinagar Airport.
According to a circular issued by the HCoI, a copy of which is available with the news agency KNS, “In view of NOTAM A0976/25 concerning the temporary closure of Srinagar Airport, Haj flights from the Srinagar Embarkation Point have been cancelled until 9th May 2025. The situation is currently being reviewed, and alternate arrangements for the air travel of the concerned pilgrims are under active consideration in close coordination with various stakeholders.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
The HCoI reaffirmed its commitment to facilitating a smooth pilgrimage for all Haj pilgrims and urged them to remain in touch with the Jammu & Kashmir State Haj Committee for updates regarding revised travel schedules.
The circular also mentioned that the J&K State Haj Committee has been asked to promptly disseminate this information among the concerned pilgrims and keep them updated on further developments (KNS)
