Srinagar 1 June (KNS) : Late afternoon hailstorm hits Rafiabad and its adjacent areas, which cause massive damage to the orchards and destroyed completely Apple, standing and other fruit crops.
In a statement to KNS former MLA Rafiabad and Apni party leader  Yawar mir, stated that, the fruit growers as well as farmers were already in distress due to earlier loss in crops.The unprecedented hailstorm has resulted a huge loss in the upper area, mostly in Kungroosa, Zethan, Chatoosa ,Kitterdaji, Hachepira,Panzalpora and more villages of the same.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Mir urged LG Manoj Sinha,District administration and Director horticulture, to assess the losses and senction sufficient compensation to affected fruit growers and farmers, as it was the only source of livelihood for them(KNS)
