Baramulla 11 June (KNS):Heavy rains hailstorm and fast gusty winds  damaged apple orchards, Vegetable, and many type of Corp on friday afternoon in different parts of north Kashmir's Baramulla district.

Source said to KNS That Hailstorm continued for about 10 to 20 minutes in many areas of kandi,Azad Gunj,hajibal pehlipora,boniyaar,Gantamulla,purniya,Manzgaam  in North kashmir.

He added that Apple orchards, vegetables, Cherry, walnut, pear, and paddy crops  damaged by hailstorm and rain in many parts of the area.

Meanwhile People of the area demanded compensation as hail storm damaged property and Due to Covid-19 lockdown we were dependent on only local vegetables fruits Corps,Cherry,walnuts but hailstorm lashed out our hopes.

They have requested LT Governor of UT  Manoj Singh,DC Baramulla to give  some relief so that their sufferings will decrease. Said a locals of Pehlipora(KNS)
