Jammu, Apr 14 (KNS): Governor N.N. Vohra has expressed grief over the demise of Shri Girish Chandra Saxena, former Governor Jammu and Kashmir (May 1990-March 1993; May 1998-Jun 2003), who breathed his last today morning.
In a message of condolence the Governor conveyed his sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed for the peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has also condoled the demise of former Jammu & Kashmir Governor, Girish Chander Saxena.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
In her condolence message, the Chief Minister described late Saxena as an able administrator who left an indelible mark in the State during his gubernatorial assignments.
Mehbooba Mufti has conveyed her personal condolences to the bereaved family of Mr. Saxena, particularly his wife and two daughters.
Lovingly called as Gary Saxena, he was the Governor of the State twice from May 26, 1990 to March 12, 1993 and from May 02, 1998 to June, 04 2003. (KNS)
