Bararmulla July 30 (KNS): An encounter has started between security forces and militants in Binner area of North Kashmir's Baramulla district on Saturday late evening.

An official said that the encounter broke out shortly after joint security forces including army, CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir police cordoned off the area following inputs about the presence of militants there. 

When reports last came, firing was going on from both sides, however, there was no casualty on either side so far.

While confirming the encounter, Kashmir police zone in a tweet tweet said

"Encounter has started at Binner area of #Baramulla. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow,".

Earlier today morning A local militant was killed while two army jawans and a police personnel received injuries in an encounter with security forces in Wanigam Bala area of Kreeri in North kashmir's Baramulla district.(KNS)
