Srinagar, Feb 22 (KNS): A day after the government put a slab on the number of guests to be invited in marriages and parties, the Democratic Party nationalist president (DPN) and former agriculture minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir on Wednesday said that the government should not have issued the order to control the guest to be invited in the functions.
Talking to KNS, Mir said that ordering control in dishes was appreciable step but the interference in the guests to be invited is not up to the aspirations of the people.
“Such functions matters the social relations of any person and how can the government curb any person who has a good social relation,” he said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“The government should have discussed the matter with all the political parties and social leaders,” he said, adding that following which they should have taken any decision in the regard.
He said that such decision would increase the police interference in the functions, which will result in the hardships to the people. (KNS)
