Srinagar, Jun 11 (KNS): Kashmir Traders and Manufacturing Federation (KTMF) led by Bashir Ahmad Rather boycotted the meeting with the government on Sunday, saying that the move to implement GST on the state would infringe the special status in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the statement issued to KNS, the KTMF leader, Hilal Ahmad Mandoo, said that the implementation of GST in the state is against the special status of JK.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“We were called at least three times in a day to attend the meet but we won’t attend any meeting until the government assure us that the state government would take care the service tax under section 5 and the government should also come to clear about integrate GST, which is not applicable for JK,” he added.
