Srinagar, May 30 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Young Men’s League Chairman Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi, vice chairman and Pakistan chapter representative Zahid Ashraf has paid glowing tribute to Shaheed Asiya and shaheed Nilofer on their 7th death anniversary and said sacrifices offered by our sisters Asiya and Nilofer will not allowed to go in vein despite of all odds and their sacrifices will definitely bear fruit.
They said that Shopian tragedy is another black bage in the history of Kashmir like Kunan poshpora and the tragedy was a grave crime against the joint conscience of people of Jammu and Kashmir.
They blamed India for shielding the culprits involved the double rape and murder of Asiya and Nilofer and said that it is shame on India s part that perpetrators of Shopian tragedy and roaming free even after seven years besides justice Muzaffer Jan (Retd) in his July 2009 report.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Imtiyaz Reshi said that from the seven decades India is using rape an instrument to crush the freedom sentiment of people of Jammu and Kashmir but failed as the people never neither succumbed nor will succumb before military might or oppressor.
He urged United Nations to establish International crimes tribunal in Kashmir for prosecuting the armed forces involved in perpetrating genocide against women in Kashmir particularly Shopian tragedy. (KNS)
