Srinagar, Dec 25 (KNS): Unidentified persons Friday hurled a grenade towards security forces during clashes at Saraf Kadal in downtown area of the city.
A police official in the area told KNS that at 5 pm today, some unidentified men threw grenade towards police and paramilitary forces deployed to thwart the protests after Friday prayers.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“Fortunately, the grenade did not explode. It was disposed off the bomb disposal squad,” he said, adding no damage or any casualty occurred du tot it.
Meanwhile, in a tele-statement to KNS, Saifullah a self-styled spokesman of Afgani Brigade claimed responsibility of the grenade attack. (KNS)
