Day dedicated to frontline women warriors of covid-19

Srinagar 08 March (KNS): Green Valley Educational Institute celebrated Women's Day today in the School Auditorium. The day was dedicated to the Women Warriors in the front line to fight against COVID19. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Ms. Tabassum Irshad, Senior Nurse Officer SKIMS, Soura. Other guests present at the occasion were Dr. Basharat Ali, Assistant Director Physical Education Department University of Kashmir and Ms. Aliya Farooq, first female Fitness Trainer of Srinagar.


As per the statement issued to news agency-kashmir news service (KNS), On the occasion, Chairman of the Institute Mr. M Y Wani spoke about the importance of Women in society as well as the contribution of women in building the nation.


Principal, Mr M D Zargar presented the guests with Mementos of appreciation. 


Various acts and speeches were presented by the students to acknowledge the Women Warriors around the world in particular and as a tribute to the women folk in general.(KNS)
