Awantipora March 21:(KNS) Awantipora police organised, a farewell function  at District Police Lines Awantipora in the honour of  Shri Tahir Saleem Khan-JKPS SSP Awantipora upon his transfer.

In his farewell address, the departing officer shared his tenure experience as SSP Awantipora and extended his gratitude to all ranks of District Police Awantipora for their cooperation and dint towards duty.He also urged the officers to work with missionary zeal, humane attitude and sincerity for welfare of the masses.

SDPO Awantipora,SDPO Tral, SDPO Pampore,Dy SP PC Awantipora DY.SP DAR, among other officers/officials were present on the occasion.

While speaking on the occasion, officers of Police District Awantipora  throwed light on the tenure  of departing officer also commended the leadership skills of the outgoing SSP besides being humane, practical and decisive in the toughest situations.

The departing officer was given mementos  as a goodwill gesture and best wishes for  him for his future assignment as SSP Budgam.(KNS)
