Srinagar, Jan 21 (KNS): Young mens league Chairman Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi along with dozens of party workers and leaders which include Shakeel u rehman, Tahoor Sidiqi ,Rouf Aasmi and others today protests in favor of Gawkadal martyrs on their martyr anniversary Over 50 innocent people were killed by the troops in Gaw Kadal area of Srinagar on January 21 in 1990.
The incident had occurred after the troops had opened indiscriminate fire on peaceful demonstrators who were protesting against the molestation of several women by troops, the previous night.
According to a statement issued to KNS, addressed leaders said that the unparalleled sacrifices offered by the Kashmiri martyrs for the Kashmir cause will not be allowed to go waste and their mission will be accomplished at all costs.
Dozens of years has been spend but the families of these martyrs has not yet prevail justice from INDIAN courts and it is impossible to these victim families to get justice from Indian courts.
Leaders said martyrs of Kashmir has sacrifices their lives for a sacred cause Right to self determination and our martyrs has center staged k issue at global level; on this occasion people raise slogans in favor of freedom and martyrs.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Meanwhile YML chairman Imtiyaz Reshi has paid rich tributes to the martyrs militant in Pulwama and said sacrifices offered by our martyrs will not allowed to go in vein and there will be no compromise till to achieve our basic goal Right To Self Determination.
They strongly condemned indiscriminate fire on peaceful demonstrators who were protesting and said killing have become a routine in Kashmir Indian government has given a free hand to armed forces to kill innocent people of Kashmir.
"Such incidents have become a routine and common man is very insecure. India has started state-wide war against the common people of Jammu and Kashmir.”
A delegation of YML on the direction of Chairman Imtiyaz Reshi which includes Master Muhammad Maqbool, Ahmad ullah and Gazi suhail visited the residence of Shakir Ahmad and Parvez Ahmad who achieved martyrdom yesterday, delegation expressed their solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved family.
