Srinagar, June 06 (KNS): CPI (M) State secretary and MLA Kulgam M Y Tarigami Monday said that the government should deal with separatists politically rather than involving administration into it.
“Dealing with separatists needs a political approach than administrative. The situation will turn worse if the political issues are addressed by repeating the old tactics,” Tarigami said.
The CPIM leader demanded release of JKLF chief Yasin Malik who was arrested by police in a case registered against him in 1987.
“Kashmir is political issue and it needs political approach. The methods which the government is using with the situation and separatists are unfortunate,” he said.
Tarigami raised the issue during Question Hour in Lower House today in the ongoing Budget Session.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

“How can he slap a police official? I demand response from the government,” Raina said.
Reacting to BJP’s demands, Congress Legislator G M Saroori said said that the government has already intensified curbs on the separatists. “One has been arrested, others will be arrested soon,” Saroori said.
Saroori demanded government’s response regarding the killing of police and BSF men Anantnag. (KNS)
