Govt orders complete restriction on non-essential movement from 9 pm to 6 am in J&K

Srinagar, Jan 05 (KNS): The government of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday ordered complete restriction of non-essential movement in the entire UT from 9 pm to 6 am till further orders. 

According to an order issued by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary, who is also the chairman state executive committee, in view of the rise in Covid-19 cases in J&K, there will be complete restriction on non-essential movement from 9 pm to 6 am till further orders.

The order, a copy of which lies with Kashmir News Service (KNS) has been issued under under Section 24 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and following a meeting chaired by the chairman State Executive Committee with the ACS (Health and Medical Education) and other senior Health functionaries today.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

”In view of the increase in number of COVID-19 cases in the entire J&K it is hereby ordered that there shall be a complete restriction on non-essential movement in the entire UT of J&K from 9 pm to 6 am till further Orders,” it reads. (KNS)
