Srinagar, Dec 01 (KNS): Former Minister and Democratic Party (Nationalist) G H Mir Thursday alleged that government had unleashed a war against the youth of J&K.
“On the one hand so many FIRS have been left open and the youth are at the mercy of police. It has become a green pastures for the police. Innocent youth are targeted and harassed," he said in a statement to KNS.
“Police officers have become arrogant dictatorate neither they are obeying the court orders nor they are following any law are rule.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelDeputy Commissioner offices have become rubber seals to lodge the youths under PSA at will and fancy of the SPs concerned,” Mir alleged.
In this atmosphere, he claimed, political government has mortgaged itself with the police. "The present situation is being dealt with administratively instead politically,” the former minister added. (KNS)
