Srinagar, Nov 04 (KNS): Seeking clarity from the ruling alliance over the issues confronting people in all the three regions, state Congress Chief G.A. Mir accused Government for failing to ensure safety and security of the people.
“Praising Narinder Modi for nothing won’t address issues. There is a need for taking measures about maintaining integrity and sovereignty of the State,” Mir, as per the congress statement, said this while leading a massive protest at Anantnag today.
The protest was a part of Akrosh Rally organized by J&K Pradesh Youth Congress against Anti Youth and Wrong Policies of Ruling Alliance across the state and concluded today at Anantnag. Thousands of Youth participated in the rally and protested against Centre and State Govts.
Speaking on this occasion PCC Chief G.A. Mir said that praising Narinder Modi for nothing is something like taking orders from RSS and implementing its Communal Agenda in the State by Chief Minister of the State and his party PDP. PCC Chief said.
Claiming that people have identified the real face of PDP, PCC Chief disclosed that those who voted for PDP feels as they have been misled by PDP for the sake of coming into the power, for the fact PDP has secured votes to stop BJP for coming into power and BJP did the opposite thing to secure votes in Jammu by misleading people, he said.
Expressing serious concern over the rising intolerance in the Country, PCC Chief blamed Modi Govt for giving free hand to disgruntled and anti peace elements damaging communal harmony in the Country, he said.
Assuring that Congress Party will defeat any move aiming to divide the State on regional and religious issues, PCC Chief said people of the state are scared of PDP BJP alliance, for the fact, they (people) are not feeling safe under the present dispensation, he said.
Describing today’s protest as warning to the Ruling Dispensation playing with the emotions of people and the other factors vitiating peace and amity, PCC Chief said that Congress would unmask all those forces and factors harming amity and integrity of the State.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channelhe said.
PCC Chief lashed out at ruling alliance for failing to address main issues confronting people in the State. He said the ruling alliance has provided an atmosphere of discord to the people, which has alienated them (people) to a great extent, he said.
Lashing out at ruling alliance for misleading people, PCC Chief accused Coalition for misleading people on certain issues and creating divide aiming to get benefitted politically, he said.
He (G.A. Mir) said PDP has added much weight to the visit of Narinder Modi, but can Chief Minister clarify that the delay in release of relief package and ignorant behavior of Narinder Modi towards the State ? Can Chief Minister clarify the silence of Narinder Modi on rising intolerance in the Country, PCC Chief questioned.
Terming Narinder Modi’s visit as a high political Drama by PDP BJP Coalition, PCC Chief said the much talked visit is nothing but a mere political gimmick in the name of announcing package.
The rally ended up at DC Office Anantnag where PCC Chief accompanied by Senior Party leaders submitted Memorandum to Deputy Commissioner Anantnag registering protest against the anti people and wrong policies of ruling alliance.
