After being denied the permission, JKLF decided to hold a protest demonstration and sit-in at Ghanta Ghar Lal Chowk. Yasin Malik said that our protest is against the spree of mysterious killings in north Kashmir in which many including an innocent 3 year old kid also lost his life.
He said that these kind of barbaric killings have no place in civilized societies and every human being condemns these killings. He said that Kashmiris want an impartial international probe into these mysterious killings so that the real culprits behind these killings are exposed and brought to justice.
Yasin Malik said that this protest is also against the cowardly intimidations by RSS and VHP who have threatened Kashmiris of blockade on bovine meat issue. He said that Kashmiri Muslims, who have sacrificed more than hundred thousand lives for freedom, cannot be frightened by such mean tactics and we will remain steadfast to our religious belief and freedom struggle.
Condemning the ongoing suppression in Jammu Kashmir, Yasin Malik said that so-called PDP led government at the behest of RSS has created an atmosphere of fear throughout Jammu Kashmir. A blanket ban has been imposed on every kind of political activities and condolence meetings are banned.
Nocturnal raids, arrests, restrictions, intimidations and other oppressive means have become an order of the day. He said that today’s protest is also against this blanket ban and unilateral government sponsored violence of Mufti led regime. Yasin Malik said that rulers must bear in mind that atrocities, oppression and intimidations have never succeeded in defeating any nation seeking freedom and these oppressive measures are bound to fail in Jammu Kashmir also.
He said that Kashmiris despite these barbaric, undemocratic acts of the so-called rulers will continue their struggle and every hardship coming in this way will be resisted firmly. (KNS)
