The NC had promised one lakh employment to the educated youth of J&K in the first six months of the government formation. However, the things are opposite, and the Govt is claiming that they cannot do anything, he added, citing how the NC played with the emotions of the people, and created division while the Govt remains ineffective on the ground.
He said that the promise of providing 200 units of free electricity, Rs 3000 old age pension, providing cooking gas cylinders etc. But all of these promises continue to remain unfulfilled.
The incompetence of the Govt has been exposed and it has compromised the aspirations of the people that has disappointed the people of both the regions.
Meanwhile, he also highlighted the concern of the youth who would work in the mining sector at the local level and authorities would collect royalty from them. However, their work has been taken over by the big mining mafia that has increased the construction case of the material leaving the common masses in financial constraints under the nose of the National Conference Govt. But the Govt remains inactive, he raised serious concern.
“The local youth, who could have been provided employment in mining at their respective areas, remain unemployed. Hence, unemployment continues to remain the main concern among the people in Jammu and Kashmir,” he added, informing that the Apni Party would continue to pull the Govt on its failures in the interest of the general masses.
As far as reservation issue is concerned, he said that the Govt has totally failed to revisit the reservation policy which is against the merit policy and injustice with the people.
