Sopore, Mar 08 (KNS): Government Degree College Sopore on Wednesday celebrated International Women's Day with full zeal and zest.

Shahana Fatima, the first female sports journalist and entrepreneur graced the occasion as a chief guest who shared valuable tips to students, teachers and other participants.

Notably International Women's Day is observed on March 8 each year and is devoted to recognising the accomplishments of women and spreading awareness of gender inequality and women's rights. (KNS)
