Srinagar, Apr 17 (KNS): Castigating the present dispensation in Jammu and Kashmir cornering the student fraternity and torturing them at large, Youth National Conference (YNC) president Salman Ali Sagar Monday said the government has lost sense about how to run the state.
According to the statement issued to KNS, Salman while addressing party workers here said the most unfortunate incidents are being witnessed in Kashmir under the purview of the present regime and that the notorious autocracy is ruling the roost in already perturbed state of Jammu and Kashmir.”The Mehbooba led government knows little that the protests by the students would soon blow up into a fire that would turn Kashmir into a veritable inferno. There is physical as well as the psychic invasion made on the students by the government that needs to be stopped at an earliest,” Salman said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The YNC president added that oppression and ignorance is holding the student fraternity in Kashmir under their claws and the chief minister is riding roughshod on Kashmir’s soul. “By cracking whip upon Kashmir’s younger generation, the present government has proven how cruellest its face could turn to save chair. The present situation has revealed the incompetence of the present government and the chief minister has to make herself accountable about whether she really deserves to hold state’s top post,” Salman said, adding that instead of humane approach, government’s dealing with students with iron fist in condemnable.
Other YNC leaders who addressed the meet include Adv Neelofar, Sabiha qadri, Abid Wani, Mohammad Irfan Zahgeer, Mushtaq Mir, Zubair Fayaz, Asif Zargar and Bilal Dar. (KNS)
