Srinagar, Mar 22 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Government on Sunday declared March 24 as holiday in all government offices in wake of ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However it added that essential services during these days will remain continue.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), J&K Government spokesperson Rohit Kansal tweeted, “Ongoing #COVID pandemic; Govt declares holiday in all offices on Tuesday March 24.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelMonday March 23 and Wednesday March 25 already holidays. Essential services to continue undisturbed”.
It is pertinent to mention that in wake of COVID-19 scare, authorities of J&K have imposed restrictions under Section 144 and asked people to maintain social distance as a “precautionary measure”. (KNS)
