Srinagar, Jul 27 (KNS): Reacting to reports of unexpected troops deployment in Kashmir and probable abrogation of Article 35a, President Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) Shah Faesal has warned that New Delhi should steer safe from any thoughtless adventurism over the special status of the state.
In a statement issued to KNS, Shah Faesal said that in view of the sensitivities attached to Articles 370 and 35a, any attempt at tinkering with these provisions will have serious consequences in the state.

He called upon the GoI to come clear on the rumours being spread about alleged threat to Article 35-A after August 15 as it was creating panic in Kashmir.
“Sense of uncertainty is hurting the tourism and Government must immediately clarify what’s happening and what’s going to happen,” Shah Faesal said on micro blogging site Twitter. (KNS)
