GN Azad questions govt over hiring of blacklisted firm to conduct exams

Sopore, Mar 15 (KNS): Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) president Ghulam Nabi Azad on Wednesday questioned the government as to why it is bringing blacklisted agencies to Jammu and Kashmir for conducting examinations.

Speaking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) on the sidelines of a function in Sopore village, Azad said that despite the fact that the APTECH Company is blacklisted in a number of states, he wonders why only J&K government is choosing the blacklisted company again and again.

"It is not the first time that they have hired such an agency to conduct examinations here as the  trend has resulted in postponement of exams many times in the last 5 years, something that hasn't happened in the last 75 years," he said.

He also said that the government should understand that today's youth are finding it difficult to get a job. "But when the government is choosing such blacklisted companies, the future of youth here will be ruined," he added.

He said the unfortunate thing is that only Jammu and Kashmir government is bringing such blacklisted companies to conduct examinations. "Considering the future of the educated youth, the government should investigate this issue," he said. (KNS)
