During his visit to Reyaz Ahmad's ancestral home at Gadoora Pulwama, Mir expressed condolences and shared grief with the family members of the deceased. 

 

In a statement released to the press, Mir said that it is very unfortunate to see innocent lives being consumed by the conflict. He also urged the government to save the lives of those assigned in the line of duty. 

 

"It is extremely heartwrenching that an innocent life was killed in the line of duty. My heartfelt sympathy is with the family members in this hour of loss. I hope the perpetrators of the crime are brought to justice at its earliest. Besides this I request the LG Administration to provide compensation to the family members of the slain constable," Mir said.(KNS)
